Core Responsibilities

Develop and execute social media strategies

aligned with overall marketing goals to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.

Manage and optimize social media profiles

across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter (X), YouTube, Pinterest, and emerging platforms.

Plan, create, and schedule content

(posts, reels, stories, videos, etc.) using tools such as Meta Business Suite, Buffer, or Hootsuite.

Monitor and analyze performance metrics

(reach, engagement, followers, CTR, ROI) and prepare regular reports to measure campaign effectiveness.

Run paid social media campaigns

(Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.) -- including audience targeting, budget management, A/B testing, and performance optimization.

Collaborate with content creators, designers, and influencers

to produce engaging visual and written content.

Engage with followers and communities

, responding to comments, DMs, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Identify social media trends, tools, and algorithm updates

to apply innovative ideas and stay ahead of competitors.

Coordinate with SEO and digital marketing teams

to ensure consistent brand messaging and keyword integration.

Support campaign launches, product promotions, and event marketing

through social media storytelling and engagement strategies.

Additional / Strategic Responsibilities

Conduct competitor analysis and benchmarking. Build influencer and brand collaboration strategies. Manage crisis communication and online reputation. Create and maintain monthly social media calendars. Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness (e.g., contests, giveaways, polls).

Key Tools Used

Meta Business Suite, Ads Manager Google Analytics, Meta Insights Canva, Adobe Creative Suite Buffer / Hootsuite / Later / Sprout Social ChatGPT or Jasper (for copywriting support)
