Role Summary
A Social Media Marketing Executive is responsible for executing social media strategies, managing day-to-day posting, and analysing performance to improve reach, leads, and ROI for multiple client accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement platform-wise social media strategies for agency clients (content calendar, campaigns, and posting schedules)
Create, curate, and publish content (reels, posts, carousels, stories, captions) aligned with each client's brand voice and objectives.
Monitor comments, DMs, and online conversations; respond promptly and maintain positive community engagement.
Coordinate with designers, copywriters, and performance marketers to run integrated campaigns (organic + paid).
Track and analyse metrics (reach, engagement, followers, clicks, leads) and prepare monthly reports with insights and action points.
Stay updated on social media trends, audio, formats, and competitor activity to suggest new ideas for clients.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong content writing and caption-writing skills, with understanding of hooks and CTAs.upgrad+1?
Basic design and video-editing skills (Canva, CapCut, etc.) for creating social-first creatives.
Knowledge of analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Instagram Insights, third?party schedulers).
Ability to manage multiple client accounts, deadlines, and campaigns in a fast-paced agency environment.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, mass communication, or related field preferred; 1-3 years of social media experience is typically expected.
