Develop, implement and optimize the social media strategy across platforms (such as Facebook, Instagram) to align with business goals.
Create, edit, publish and share engaging content (text, images, video) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
Manage and oversee social media communities -- responding to comments and customer queries in a timely manner; monitoring and reporting on feedback and online reviews.
Work with marketing, sales and product teams to create a social "voice", align campaigns with product launches, promotions, and events.
Develop and manage a content calendar; coordinate with designers, videographers and copywriters to produce high-quality assets.
Monitor competitor activity and industry trends; benchmark performance and identify opportunities or gaps.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven work experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Marketing Specialist for 0-1 year.
Strong knowledge of current social media trends, algorithms and best practices.
Basic graphic design or video editing skills (or comfortable working with designers) and familiarity with tools such as Canva
Familiarity with Excel/Google Sheets, social media management tools.
Preferred
Experience working in Digital Marketing Industry.
Basic understanding of SEO and content marketing.
Experience managing budgets for paid social campaigns.
Certifications such as Facebook Blueprint, Google Analytics.
