About the Role
As a
Social Media Marketing Associate
, you'll be responsible for driving the online voice of both brands -- building excitement, community, and conversions through creative storytelling and digital engagement.
From crafting high-energy event campaigns for TGIR to building Race Above's launch presence from the ground up -- you'll be at the center of all things content, creativity, and community.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Creation
Plan and execute social media content calendars for both brands across Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Create engaging posts, reels, and stories that highlight event energy (TGIR) and platform value (Race Above).
Work with the design and video teams to develop visually strong, trend-savvy campaigns.
Campaign Management
Drive pre-event and post-event digital campaigns for The Great Inflate Run -- registrations, FOMO, influencer collabs, etc.
Build brand awareness and anticipation for Race Above's platform launch and athlete community engagement.
Manage paid promotions and track campaign performance with the marketing lead.
Community & Influencer Engagement
Collaborate with fitness influencers, running clubs, and athlete communities.
Respond to comments, DMs, and user interactions in a fun, brand-consistent tone.
Grow organic engagement and build a loyal digital community for both brands.
Analytics & Reporting
Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversions) and share actionable insights.
Continuously refine social strategies based on trends and data.
Who You Are
Creative, energetic, and deeply passionate about
sports, fitness, and storytelling
.
A social media native who understands reels, trends, and audience psychology.
Excellent communicator with a strong eye for detail and design.
Comfortable juggling two distinct brand tones -- fun & playful (TGIR) and inspiring & aspirational (Race Above).
Hands-on with tools like Canva, Meta Business Suite, and basic video editing apps.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Media, Communications, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or brand communication.
Prior experience with event, fitness, or startup brands is a plus.
