Job Description

As our first hire in marketing function, you'll build our social media marketing engine from the ground up.

Key responsibilities:

Managing and growing Matall's social media presence across Instagram, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and more. Designing and publishing engaging content (posts, reels, videos, stories, banners, ads, etc.). Running paid campaigns on Meta, Google, and other relevant platforms with a focus on maintaining ROAS benchmarks. Creating and publishing weekly and monthly performance dashboards. Planning and executing campaigns across demand and supply sides (users + suppliers). Working closely with founders to align messaging with business goals. Consuming feedback and campaign data to refine future strategies.

Other requirements

We prefer to meet folks (females preferred) who have:

Some hands-on digital marketing experience. Exposure to tools like Canva, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and Google Analytics. Basic design skills and an eye for visual storytelling. Strong content writing ability (short-form and visual). Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment. Bonus: Experience in hyperlocal, e-commerce, or logistics-led businesses.

Females preferred

Some experience (either full time/freelance/projects) in digital marketing and design. Wants to work in -1 to 1 journey.
