The Social Media Manager is responsible for planning, creating, and managing content across all social platforms to enhance brand presence, drive engagement, and support business goals. The role requires creativity, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution to maintain a consistent brand voice.
Key Responsibilities
A. Content Strategy & Planning
a. Develop and execute monthly content calendars for all platforms.
b. Identify relevant trends, topicals, and moments to create timely content.
c. Plan campaigns for product launches, events, and brand initiatives.
B. Content Creation & Execution
a. Oversee creation of posts, reels, stories, shorts, and long-form content.
b. Coordinate with designers, video editors, and copywriters for daily content.
c. Write engaging captions and ensure brand voice is consistent.
d. Capture in-house videos/pictures during office events or client activities.
C. Platform Management
a. Manage daily posting across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, X, etc.
b. Monitor comments, messages, and maintain timely responses.
c. Track performance and optimize content based on analytics.
D. Campaigns & Engagement
a. Execute social media campaigns--organic and paid.
b. Plan and run WhatsApp and email campaigns if required.
c. Manage influencer collaborations and outreach.
E. Brand & Community Building
a. Maintain strong community engagement through interactive content.
b. Ensure brand guidelines are followed in every post.
c. Work with internal teams for cross-functional communication.
F. Reporting & Analytics
a. Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.
b. Monitor KPIs like reach, engagement, follower growth, CTR, and conversions.
c. Recommend strategies to improve performance.
G. Additional Responsibilities
a. Website and blog updates as required.
b. Coordination for banners, print creatives, and brand collaterals.
c. Support hiring posts, employee events, milestones, and internal communications content.
Required Skills & Qualifications
a. Proven experience in social media management.
b. Strong understanding of all major social media platforms.
