Develop and implement social media strategies for the university (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.)
Create and manage monthly content calendars in line with brand tone and key campaigns
Collaborate with design, content, and video teams to create engaging posts, stories, and reels
Monitor trends, hashtags, and platform updates to keep content fresh and relevant. Plan and manage paid social media campaigns and boost strategies
Respond to queries, messages, and comments in a timely, brand-appropriate manner
Coordinate influencer collaborations and partnerships when needed
Support live coverage of key events, campaigns, and announcements
Skills
Strong understanding of platform algorithms and audience behavior
Excellent writing and visual storytelling skills
Proficiency in social media tools like Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Canva, etc.
Basic knowledge of video editing and graphic design is a plus
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and optimize content
Qualifications & Experience
A degree in Communications, Journalism, Media, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience in managing social media for a brand or agency
A strong portfolio or links to managed accounts is a plus
