Responsibilities :
Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with the institute's goals and audience profile.
Create, schedule, and publish engaging content (posts, reels, videos, infographics) on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and others suitable for the education sector.
Handle end-to-end social media campaigns including conceptualization, execution, and reporting.
Monitor and respond to community engagement, comments, messages, and queries in a timely manner to foster a positive online environment.
Analyze performance metrics (followers, engagement rates, reach, conversion) using tools such as Meta Insights, Google Analytics, etc., and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Stay updated with latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and digital best practices specifically relevant to educational institutes.
Collaborate closely with faculty, marketing, and video editing teams for cross-channel campaigns and creatives.
Manage the social media advertising budget and optimize paid campaigns for lead generation and brand awareness.
Ensure that all published content is on-brand, accurate, and maintains the company's reputation in line with its values.
Conduct competitor and audience research for innovative content ideas and engagement strategies.
Coordinate with influencers, alumni, and students for special campaigns and collaborations.
Regularly report to management with campaign analytics, insights, and improvement plans.
Handle crisis communication and be vigilant about reputation management on all platforms.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
Proven work experience (min. 3 years) as a Social Media Manager or similar roles, preferably in educational settings.
Proficiency with popular scheduling, analytics, and design tools (Canva, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, etc.).
Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
Excellent understanding of the local and national education ecosystem.
Ability to work collaboratively and independently to brainstorm, plan, and execute campaigns.
Experience with basic video editing and creative tools is preferred.
A track record of growing social media presence and managing successful lead-generation campaigns.
