8 to 12 Years of work experience in print media or similar role in a media, publishing, or newspaper environment

Roles & Responsibilities:



1. Content Planning & Publishing

? Develop a social media content calendar aligned with editorial priorities.

? Ensure real-time coverage of

breaking news

on social platforms..

? Publish news updates, breaking stories, photo features, videos, and info graphics.

2. Audience Engagement & Growth

? Respond to comments, DMs, and reader feedback professionally

? Handle crisis communication (fact-checking, addressing misinformation).

? Conduct polls, Q&A, live sessions with journalists, and audience-driven content.

? Monitor trending topics and regional issues for relevance.

? Using Search Engine Optimization (SEO) improves online visibility, attract potential customers, and drive organic traffic to our website.

3. Branding & Readership Skills

? Increase followers and subscribers across platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok).

? Promote Digital Campaigns subscription offers, special issues, e-paper links, or editorial events.

? Run social media campaigns to promote subscriptions or special editions.

? Collaborate with journalists and editors for exclusive content.

? Run targeted ad campaigns in coordination with marketing/sales team.

4. Analytics & Reporting

? Track metrics like reach, impressions, likes, shares, comments, video views, etc.

? Monitor negative mentions or comments.

? Analyze traffic referrals from social media to the newspaper's website.

? Provide weekly/monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations.

? Identify high-performing content and audience behavior trends.

5. Platform Innovation & Trends.

? Experiment with new formats (Reels, Stories, live videos, Twitter Spaces).

? Stay updated on algorithm changes and emerging platforms.

? Use AI tools for content optimization for news alerts.

6. Training & Development

? Conduct regular feedback sessions with team.

Identify skill gaps in a team and recommend relevant development activities

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
