As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining marketing campaigns, brand promotions, and product lines across various social media platforms. The role involves generating fresh content, developing new ideas and campaigns, and measuring their effectiveness. Responsibilities:
Create and post daily content, including posts and reels, on social media platforms.
Develop and implement a social media marketing plan
Constantly creating new content for various social media sites
Identify and improve organisational development aspects that would improve content (i.e.: employee training, recognition and rewards for participation in the company's marketing and online review building)
Create a regular publishing schedule
Promote content through social advertising
Work on brand development
You will need to research you target market and make sure you reach out to them appropriately with the correct content
Visual content has a lasting effect on the viewer. Your visual branding must be consistent.
Update content across various social media channels
Engage with followers and customers
Resolve customer queries
Keep an eye on the latest social media trends.
Monitor SEO and traffic
Strengthen relationships with social media influencers

Skills:
Writing: Social media managers will need to know how to write effective copy in a lot of different styles, for websites. Knowledge of writing for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is also needed
Research: Social media managers need to know what is happening in the fast-changing world of social and digital media, what competitors are doing and what new measurement tools are being use
Interpersonal Skills: Even through writing, social media managers are a direct connection between a company and the public. Being friendly and approachable online will help

Qualifications
Bachelor's / Master's degree in Digital Marketing or a relevant field
