Social Media Manager (Team Lead | Organic + Paid | Meta & Google | ROI Ownership)
About the Role
We're hiring a Social Media Manager to
lead
and
own strategy ? execution ? reporting
across organic and paid channels. You'll plan creative social strategies, run Meta & Google campaigns end-to-end, and be accountable for
growth KPIs and ROI
for client accounts.
Key Responsibilities
1) Leadership & Team Management
Lead a team (creators, designers, copy/video, community, ads exec).
Set weekly goals, allocate workloads, review outputs, and run
stand-ups & weekly reviews
.
Build SOPs, playbooks, and quality bars (naming, file hygiene, turnaround times).
Coach for skill growth; conduct 1:1s, feedback, and hiring for the pod.
2) Social Media Strategy (Organic)
Build monthly/quarterly
content strategies
(pillars, series, calendars, hooks, CTAs).
Oversee production of
Reels/Shorts, carousels, stories, UGC
; ensure brand voice & consistency.
Own
community management
(DMs, comments, social care SLAs).
Track
content KPIs
: reach, saves, comments, watch time, CTR; ship experiments.
3) Paid Social & Search (Performance Marketing)
Plan ? Launch ? Optimize ? Scale
campaigns on
Meta Ads
(FB/IG) and
Google Ads
(Search/PMAX/YouTube/Display).
Create
media plans
with budgets, forecasts, audiences, geo, placements, and expected CPL/ROAS.
Set up
pixels/conversions
(Meta pixel, CAPI),
GA4
events,
UTM
governance, and CRM integrations.
Run
creative testing
(hooks, formats, offers),
A/B
experiments, frequency caps, and funnel stages (TOFU/MOFU/BOFU).
Collaborate on
landing pages
(offer clarity, copy, CRO, speed) with designers/dev.
Own
, monthly reviews, and QBRs with actionable insights.
Share
dashboards
(Looker/Data Studio/Sheets), narrative analysis, and next-step experiments.
Manage expectations on timelines, attribution, and budget pacing; flag risks early.
5) Compliance & Governance
Ensure ad policy compliance (Meta/Google), cookie/consent where needed, and brand safety.
Maintain creative rights, music licenses, and influencer disclosures.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
2-3 years
in social media & performance marketing; leading creators/ads execs.
