Job Title: Social Media Manager (Organic & CRM) (3-4 Years Exp.)
Role Summary
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing organic (non-paid) digital marketing activities across social media platforms, email & WhatsApp communication, website content, and influencer collaborations. The role focuses on content execution, engagement, consistency, and organic growth, ensuring brand presence across all digital touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
1. Social Media Marketing (Non-Paid / Organic)
Plan and execute organic social media content across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube
Manage posts, reels, shorts, stories, polls, and community posts
Ensure timely posting as per content calendar
Monitor comments, messages, and community engagement
Maintain brand voice and consistency across platforms
2. Email & WhatsApp Marketing (CRM)
Manage newsletters, promotional emails, and informational campaigns
Plan and execute WhatsApp broadcasts and engagement messages
Coordinate audience segmentation and content scheduling
Ensure opt-in compliance and clean communication practices
3. Website & SEO (Content-led)
Coordinate website content updates (banners, content blocks, blogs)
Work with content writers on SEO-friendly blog content
Support basic on-page SEO activities (titles, meta descriptions, content structure)
Track website content performance and engagement
4. Influencer / Collaboration Marketing
Identify relevant influencers and content collaborators
Coordinate barter and organic influencer campaigns
Manage content delivery, timelines, and publishing
Track engagement and visibility from collaborations
Support guest blogging and content partnerships
5. Planning, Tracking & Reporting
Maintain monthly and yearly social media & content trackers
Track planned vs achieved activities
Share regular performance summaries with management
Identify content gaps and improvement opportunities
6.Online Reputation Management (ORM)
Monitor and manage brand reputation across social media platforms, including comments, messages, and reviews.
Respond to customer queries, feedback, and complaints in a timely, professional, and brand-appropriate manner.
Handle negative comments and issues with empathy, escalate internally when required, and ensure proper follow-up.
Maintain response timelines and support positive community engagement.
Coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer concerns and improve overall brand perception.
7. Asset Management
Organise design files, folders, and versions
Prepare final assets for publishing and development handover
Tools & Platforms (Required Working Knowledge)
Social media scheduling tools (e.g. Later.com or similar)
Email marketing platforms (e.g. Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar)
Meta Business Suite (organic publishing & insights)
Google Analytics (basic traffic and content performance tracking)
Google Sheets / Excel for reporting and tracking
Required Experience & Skills
3-4 years of experience in Social Media / Digital Content roles
Strong understanding of organic social media strategies
Experience managing email and WhatsApp campaigns
Basic working knowledge of SEO and website content
Experience coordinating influencers or collaborations
Good Excel / Google Sheets skills for tracking & reporting
Strong communication and coordination skills
Good command of US and UK English with the ability to adapt tone and spelling as per audience.
Ability to write clearly and accurately in both US and UK English styles.
Good to Have (Preferred / Nice to Have)
Experience working with food, FMCG, or D2C brands
Basic understanding of Meta Ads (for coordination with performance teams)
Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Search Console or keyword tools
Experience managing multiple brands or accounts
Understanding of content performance metrics (reach, engagement, CTR)
Experience working with designers, content writers, and video editors
Office Timing
Office Timing: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (UK Time)
Corresponding India Time: 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM (IST)
(Candidates must be available during UK working hours.)
Compensation & Review
Salary: ₹20,000 - ₹25,000 per month
Review: Performance review after 3 months, with scope for salary revision based on performance, skills, and contribution
