The Social Media Intern will support the company's digital marketing activities by creating content, managing social media pages, monitoring engagement, and assisting in online campaigns. This role is ideal for someone creative, tech-savvy, and eager to learn modern social media trends.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in creating and posting content (images, videos, reels, stories, captions).
Manage and update company social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, etc.).
Research current trends, hashtags, and content ideas.
Monitor page engagement -- likes, comments, shares -- and respond to basic queries.
Assist in planning and executing social media campaigns.
Track performance metrics and prepare weekly/monthly reports.
Coordinate with design, marketing, and sales teams for content requirements.
Help grow followers organically and improve online brand presence.
Maintain content calendars and ensure timely posting.
Skills Required:
Basic knowledge of social media platforms and trends.
Good communication skills (written & verbal).
Creativity and interest in content creation.
Basic skills in Canva, Photoshop, or video editing (preferred).
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Qualifications:
Pursuing or completed a degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or similar field.
Prior exposure to social media handling (even academic or freelance) is a plus.
Work Environment:
Internship duration: 1-6 months (depending on company policy).
Flexible work environment; may include remote or hybrid options.
Certificate and letter of recommendation based on performance.
