Position Summary
The Social Media Intern will support the marketing team in creating, managing, and optimizing content across various social media platforms. This role is ideal for someone creative, enthusiastic, and eager to learn the dynamics of digital marketing and brand communication.
Roles & Responsibilities
Assist in planning and creating engaging content for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and others.
Support in designing posts, reels, stories, and short videos using basic editing tools.
Schedule and publish content as per the social media calendar.
Monitor social media channels for trends, comments, and audience engagement.
Conduct research on competitors, industry trends, and new content ideas.
Assist in managing community interactions by replying to comments and messages.
Track performance of posts and prepare basic weekly reports.
Collaborate with the marketing team for campaigns, promotions, and brand activities.
Maintain brand consistency across all social channels.
Provide creative input during brainstorming sessions.
Skills & Qualifications
Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Marketing, Mass Communication, Digital Media, or similar fields.
Basic understanding of social media platforms and trends.
Creativity and interest in content creation.
Familiarity with Canva, CapCut, or other editing tools (preferred).
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
