Job Description

As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our organization's social media strategy. You will create original content, manage posts, engage with followers, and analyse performance metrics to optimize our social media presence. Your goal will be to increase brand awareness, drive traffic to our digital platforms, and foster meaningful connections with our audience.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement. Create and curate engaging content for various social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy and incorporate them into our strategy as appropriate. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure social media content aligns with overall marketing goals and campaigns. Stay up-to-date with social media best practices, algorithm changes, and industry trends. Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget management, targeting, and optimization. Implement and manage social media contests, giveaways, and other promotional activities. Stay informed about our industry, competitors, and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Monitor and respond to online reviews and customer feedback in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field. Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role. In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices. Proficiency in using social media management tools such as Hootsuite or Buffer. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Knowledge of SEO and content marketing principles is a plus. Passion for social media and staying current with industry trends and developments.
