hands-on, creator-first role
for someone who enjoys shooting videos, editing reels, writing sharp hook-based copy, and translating campus life, learning, and thought leadership into engaging social media content.
The role goes beyond posting--
it is about creating relevance, engagement, and consistency
for FIIB's academic brand across social platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Reels
Shoot short-form videos (reels, shorts) on campus using mobile devices.
Edit basic reels/videos (cuts, transitions, captions, background music, text overlays).
Create platform-native content for Instagram and LinkedIn (reels, carousels, static posts).
Write compelling captions, hook lines, and short ad copies aligned with platform best practices.
Social Media Execution & Calendar Management
Assist in developing and maintaining the
weekly and monthly social media content calendar
.
Schedule posts across platforms in line with campaigns, events, and admissions cycles.
Coordinate with content writers, designers, faculty, and students for timely content creation.
Platform & Community Management
Support day-to-day management of FIIB's social media handles (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook).
Monitor comments, DMs, and engagement under guidance.
Assist in event coverage, live updates, campus activities, and student initiatives.
Campaign Support & Performance Tracking
Support social media campaigns during admissions cycles, academic events, and institutional milestones.
Track basic performance metrics such as reach, engagement, reel performance, and follower growth.
Share insights on what content formats and hooks are working better.
Desired Skills & Profile
Graduate/Postgraduate student in
Marketing, Media, Communication, Journalism, or related fields
.
Strong interest in
social media trends, reels culture, and short-form video storytelling
.
Comfortable with
shooting videos on mobile
and editing basic reels.
Ability to write
interesting captions, hook lines, and promotional copy
.
Good coordination and communication skills.
Creative, proactive, and detail-oriented mindset.
Working knowledge of
Canva, basic video editing apps (InShot, CapCut, VN, etc.)
and scheduling tools is an advantage.
