The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and growing the bank's presence across all social media platforms, ensuring brand consistency, customer engagement, and compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires a deep understanding of digital trends, financial communication strategies, and crisis management in a regulated industry.
Key Responsibilities:1. Social Media Strategy & Execution
Develop, implement, and manage the bank's social media strategy aligned with overall business and marketing goals.
Plan and schedule high-quality, relevant, and engaging content across platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, YouTube, etc.).
Optimize campaigns for brand awareness, lead generation, and customer service.
2. Content Creation & Management
Collaborate with internal teams to create content that highlights products, services, financial literacy, and brand values.
Oversee visual content (graphics, videos, infographics) in partnership with design and creative teams.
Maintain a consistent brand voice and tone suitable for a financial institution.
3. Analytics & Performance Reporting
Monitor, analyze, and report on key metrics such as reach, engagement, CTR, and conversions.
Use tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, etc., to track campaign performance.
Provide monthly and quarterly insights to guide strategy adjustments.
4. Community Engagement & Crisis Management
Actively engage with customers, answer queries, and route issues to the appropriate departments.
Monitor online sentiment and manage reputation across all platforms.
Develop protocols for responding to negative comments or PR issues in line with compliance guidelines.
5. Compliance & Regulatory Adherence
Ensure all social media content adheres to banking regulations, legal requirements, and brand guidelines.
Stay updated with industry changes and digital marketing best practices specific to the financial sector.
Key Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field. MBA preferred.
Experience:
0-6 month in social media marketing,
Skills:
Strong understanding of financial products and digital trends.
Proficiency with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer).
Experience in paid social media campaigns.
Excellent communication, writing, and storytelling skills.
Ability to manage multiple campaigns under tight deadlines.
Certifications (preferred):
Google Analytics / Meta Blueprint / HubSpot / Digital Marketing Certifications
