Job Description

Job Responsibilities of a Social Media Marketing Manager1. Strategy & Planning



Develop and execute social media marketing strategies aligned with business goals. Plan monthly content calendars for all platforms. Identify target audience and choose the right platforms for brand promotion.

2. Content Creation & Management



Oversee creation of engaging content (graphics, videos, reels, stories, ads). Ensure brand consistency in tone, visuals, and messaging. Coordinate with designers, photographers, and influencers.

3. Social Media Handling



Manage daily posting, scheduling, and optimization across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, etc.). Monitor real-time trends and integrate them into content. Respond to comments, messages, and customer queries professionally.

4. Performance Tracking & Reporting



Track and analyze KPIs such as reach, engagement, clicks, followers, and conversions. Generate weekly/monthly performance reports. Use insights to improve future campaigns.

5. Paid Advertising & Campaigns



Create and manage paid ad campaigns on Meta, Google, and other platforms. Optimize ad performance to achieve ROAS, leads, and sales goals. A/B test creatives, captions, and audience segments.

6. Community Building & Growth



Build an active, engaged online community. Run contests, giveaways, polls, and UGC campaigns. Engage with influencers and content creators for collaborations.

7. Brand Reputation Management



Maintain positive brand image across all platforms. Handle negative comments, feedback, and online crises. Monitor brand mentions and competitor activities.

8. Collaboration & Coordination



Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams. Plan social media support for events, launches, promotions, and campaigns.

9. Trend Research & Innovation



Stay updated with latest social media trends, tools, and algorithm changes. Implement new strategies like reels, hashtags, influencer marketing, etc.

10. Lead Generation & Conversion



Drive traffic to website or landing pages. Implement strategies that help boost sales, inquiries, and brand visibility.
