will be responsible for managing and growing the official social media presence of Sudarshan News across various platforms. The role involves daily posting, audience engagement, real-time news updates, and creating innovative digital strategies to enhance the channel's online visibility and brand value.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all official social media accounts (YouTube, Facebook, X/Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
Plan, schedule, and post regular content, including news updates, show promos, and creative posts.
Write engaging and SEO-friendly captions, headlines, and descriptions for posts and videos.
Monitor trends, hashtags, and breaking news to create timely and relevant content.
Engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and maintain audience interaction.
Coordinate with the Digital Producer, Video Editors, and Creative Team for content production.
Track analytics and prepare weekly/monthly performance reports for social platforms.
Promote live shows, breaking news, and exclusive interviews in real-time.
Maintain brand tone, language, and consistency across all social handles.
Suggest new strategies to improve reach, followers, and engagement organically.
Requirements:
Graduate or Postgraduate in Mass Communication, Journalism, Digital Media, or related field.
1-3 years of experience in managing social media for news/media organizations (freshers with strong skills may also apply).
Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, and content trends.
Strong writing and communication skills in
Hindi and English
.
Basic understanding of photo/video editing tools (Canva, Photoshop, Premiere, etc.) is preferred.
Ability to work under pressure and handle breaking news situations.
Flexible to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as per news requirements.
