Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Social Media Management
Develop and implement platform-specific social media strategies aligned with brand and campaign objectives.
Take full responsibility for maintaining a consistent and on-brand presence across all active platforms.
Monitor trends, competitors, and audience behavior to refine strategy and suggest improvements.
Content Planning & Calendar Management
Create
monthly content calendars
aligned with marketing campaigns, product launches, and key events.
Define content themes, formats, and posting schedules to maximize reach and engagement.
Ensure all content is planned in advance and deadlines are met.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with
designers and writers
to brief and develop creatives, captions, and copies.
Coordinate the content production workflow to ensure timely delivery of posts and campaigns.
Ensure all content follows brand guidelines, tone of voice, and messaging priorities.
Execution & Community Management
Schedule and publish content across social media platforms using relevant tools.
Monitor engagement (comments, DMs, shares, mentions) and ensure timely and appropriate responses.
Identify and escalate important feedback, issues, or queries to the relevant internal stakeholders.
Reporting & Performance Ownership
Track and analyze key performance metrics such as reach, engagement, follower growth, and clicks.
Prepare
weekly and monthly performance reports
with clear insights and learnings.
Take ownership of suggesting data-backed improvements for content, timing, and formats.
Requirements
Minimum 6 months of hands-on experience
managing social media for a brand, agency, or client
(internship, freelance, or full-time experience is acceptable).
Strong understanding of major social platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, etc.).
Ability to
manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders
with ownership and accountability.
Basic understanding of social media analytics and performance metrics.
Good communication skills and ability to write or refine basic captions/copies.
Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and proactive problem-solving.
