Key Responsibilities
Strategy Development & Implementation:
o Develop, manage, and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the firm's business objectives and marketing goals.
o Define key goals for engagement, reach, lead generation, and brand awareness.
o Conduct audience and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and inform strategy.
Content Creation & Management:
o Create, schedule, and publish high-quality, engaging content across our key social media platforms, including LinkedIn & Twitter (X)
o Translate complex accounting, tax, and business advisory topics into accessible and compelling content, including posts, articles, infographics, and short-form videos.
o Manage a detailed content calendar, collaborating with partners, and the wider marketing team to ensure a consistent pipeline of relevant content.
o Ensure all content adheres to our brand guidelines, professional tone of voice, and compliance requirements.
Community Management & Engagement:
o Monitor our social media channels, responding to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
o Proactively engage with clients, industry professionals, and potential leads to build relationships and foster a sense of community.
o Monitor industry trends and news, flagging relevant topics for reactive content opportunities.
Paid Social & Campaign Management:
o Plan, execute, and optimise paid social media campaigns to target specific audiences and drive leads for services, webinars, and events.
o Manage the paid social effectively, ensuring a strong return on investment (ROI).
Analytics & Reporting:
o Track, analyse, and report on social media performance using native platform analytics and other tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Sprout Social, Hootsuite).
o Produce regular reports for senior stakeholders, providing insights, key learnings, and recommendations for future strategy.
The Ideal Candidate: Skills & Experience
Essential:
Proven experience (minimum 2-3 years) in a B2B social media marketing role.
Demonstrable expertise in managing and growing professional social media channels, particularly LinkedIn.
Excellent copywriting and content creation skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for a business audience.
Experience in planning and executing successful paid social media campaigns.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency with social media analytics and reporting tools.
Highly organised with excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
A professional, proactive, and collaborative attitude.
Desirable:
Experience working within professional services (e.g., accountancy, law, finance) or a similar regulated industry.
A basic understanding of the UK business landscape.
Proficiency with design tools such as Canva.
Experience with video creation and editing for social media.
A relevant degree or professional qualification in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
