Job Summary
A Social Media Executive is responsible for managing and growing a brand's presence across social media platforms. This role involves creating content, engaging with audiences, analysing performance, and supporting marketing goals through social media strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain company social media accounts (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube)
Create, schedule, and publish engaging content (posts, stories, reels, videos)
Write captions, hashtags, and short promotional copy
Monitor comments, messages, and mentions; respond in a timely and professional manner
Plan and execute social media campaigns and promotions
Track analytics and prepare performance reports
Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and platform updates
Coordinate with the marketing, design, and content teams
Assist with influencer collaborations and online partnerships
Ensure brand voice and guidelines are followed consistently
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Creativity and understanding of social media trends
Basic knowledge of social media analytics and tools
Ability to manage multiple platforms and tasks
Familiarity with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, basic video editing)
Good time management and organizational skills
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred but not always required)
Experience
