Job Description

We're looking for a

Social Media & Content Creator

who lives on Instagram/LinkedIn/YouTube, enjoys designing on Canva, and loves experimenting with content formats.

You will:

Manage Medxchange's social media presence Plan and define content & shoot ideas Work closely with founders and doctors to turn their work into powerful stories
There is

no single "right way"

here - we want someone who can test, learn, and iterate.

Responsibilities

1. Social Media Management



Own daily posting on

Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube (Shorts/Reels)

Maintain a simple content calendar (what goes out, when, and where) Reply to comments & DMs (basic engagement, FAQs, directing leads to WhatsApp/website) Track basic metrics: reach, saves, shares, profile visits, link clicks

2. Content & Shoot Planning



Convert ideas from the team (and from doctors) into:

Reels concepts Carousel ideas Short "talking head" videos
Create

shoot definitions

:

who is speaking key message approximate script / bullet points location (hospital/classroom/zoom) framing + B-roll ideas Coordinate with videographers/photographers (or shoot on phone if needed)

3. Design & Editing



Design

clean, on-brand posts

using

Canva

(carousels, stories, thumbnails, posters) Edit basic videos for Reels/Shorts (CapCut/InShot/Canvas video editor or similar) Maintain visual consistency: colors, fonts, logos, overall "Medxchange look"

4. Content Writing



Write clear, simple

captions

and hooks for: Instagram posts & reels LinkedIn posts YouTube titles & descriptions Adapt tone for doctors: professional but friendly and aspirational
Must-Have Skills

Strong familiarity with

Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube

Comfortable using

Canva

(or similar design tools) Basic video editing skills (mobile or desktop - any tool is fine) Good written English: can write hooks, captions, and simple scripts Ability to take a vague idea ("Let's talk about AI in cardiology") and turn it into a post or reel concept Comfortable working with

doctors and academic content

(you don't need to be a doctor, just not scared of medical terms)
Good-to-Have (Bonus)

Previous experience in

education / healthcare / startup / edtech

Understanding of

AI, data, or tech

(even at a basic level) Experience running

Meta or LinkedIn ads

Basic analytics: reading insights, spotting what works, what doesn't
Personality Fit

You enjoy

experimenting

, even if it's made in Canva You're proactive: you don't wait for "perfect instructions," you suggest ideas You're okay shooting content on-site (in hospitals, classrooms, events) when needed
