Job Summary:
The Social Media Associate will be responsible for executing and supporting our social media strategy to enhance brand awareness, drive community engagement, and grow our online presence. This role is perfect for a creative and data-driven individual with a keen understanding of social media trends and a knack for creating compelling content.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Management:
Develop, create, and curate engaging content (text, image, video) for various social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube.
Maintain a consistent brand voice and tone across all channels.
Manage and schedule posts using social media management tools.
Community Engagement:
Monitor all social media channels, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Foster a positive and interactive community by engaging with followers and encouraging user-generated content.
Identify and engage with relevant influencers and partners to amplify our content reach.
Strategy & Analytics:
Assist in the development and implementation of social media campaigns aligned with business goals.
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as reach, engagement, and conversions.
Generate regular reports on social media performance and provide actionable insights for optimization.
Stay Current:
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices.
Research competitor activity and industry developments to inform our content strategy.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience in a social media or digital marketing role, preferably in the edtech or a related industry.
Proven experience in creating and managing content for various social media platforms.
Strong creative and copywriting skills with a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, YouTube Analytics, etc.).
Basic graphic design and video editing skills (e.g., using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or mobile editing apps) are a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
A proactive and collaborative team player with a strong passion for education and digital marketing.
