We are an e-commerce startup looking for an organized and creative
Social Media Associate
to manage our daily online presence. This role is about executing a strong content strategy, handling community interactions, and supporting our basic digital marketing efforts to drive sales.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Content Management:
Schedule and post engaging content (photos, videos, stories) across
Instagram, Facebook, and other Social Media platforms
.
Community Engagement:
Monitor all channels, quickly respond to customer comments and DMs, and build a positive online community around our products.
Content Writing & SEO:
Write clear, persuasive captions and blog snippets. Ensure all content and product descriptions are optimized for basic search engine visibility (
SEO
).
Basic Paid Boosting:
Assist in setting up and monitoring small budget
"boosted posts"
or basic ads to expand reach and promote key products.
Reporting:
Track and report on basic metrics like post performance, best-performing content, and follower growth.
UGC and Trends:
Identify and utilize user-generated content (UGC) and quickly adapt brand content to follow platform trends.
Qualifications Skills We Need
Experience managing professional social media accounts (
0-3 years
).
Strong, clear
writing skills
for both social media and product-related content.
Ability to use simple design tools (like Canva) to create visual content.
Understanding of how social media helps drive e-commerce sales.
Detail-oriented and reliable for daily execution.
What's a Plus
Experience working in a small team or startup.
Any prior experience with basic ad platforms (Facebook Ads Manager).
