Social Media and Digital Marketing Coordinator*

Job Summary:

The Social Media and Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for managing and maintaining all social media handles and the organization's website. This role involves creating and executing a monthly content planner, coordinating with vendors and in-house graphic designers, managing photo data for social media and ad campaigns, and providing analytics and reports on all digital marketing activities. The coordinator will also work closely with the events team to ensure alignment with the events tracker and report daily activities to management, with a specific collaboration with the academic director on the sixth day for reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Social Media and Website Management:

- Manage and maintain all social media handles (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn).

- Regularly update and maintain the organization's website content.

- Ensure all social media activities are aligned with the brand's voice and objectives.

2. Content Planning and Coordination:

- Create a monthly planner detailing the content and posts for each social media platform.

- Coordinate with the events team to align social media activities with the organization's event schedule.

- Work closely with in-house graphic designers to develop creative content for social media and website use.

- Collaborate with vendors for any external services required for digital marketing and social media activities.

3. Campaign Management:

- Plan and execute social media ad campaigns, focusing on admissions and other key organizational goals.

- Monitor and optimize ad performance to ensure effective use of resources.

- Maintain a photo database for use in social media posts and ad campaigns.

4. Analytics and Reporting:

- Track and analyze social media and website metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and content.

- Prepare and present regular reports on social media performance, website traffic, and campaign effectiveness.

- On the sixth day of the daily reporting cycle, coordinate and collaborate with the academic director to ensure effective communication and oversight.

5. Lead Generation and Coordination:

- Track lead generation activities and collaborate with the admissions team to ensure all leads are followed up with.

- Maintain and delegate social media and website queries to the respective departments for prompt response.

6. Review Management:

- Maintain and review the Google page and other home review platforms.

- Update the academic director and management on positive and negative remarks to ensure timely action is taken.

7. Crisis Management:

- Manage any PR crises that arise on social media or the website by following rapid response protocols and coordinating with senior management.

8. Audience Engagement:

- Actively engage with the audience by responding to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner.

9. SEO Optimization:

- Ensure social media posts and website content are optimized for search engines to improve visibility.

10. Compliance and Privacy:

- Adhere to any legal requirements related to digital marketing, including data privacy laws.

11. Training and Development:

- If applicable, train junior staff or new hires in digital marketing best practices.
