Role Overview
We're looking for a
Social Content & Design Specialist
who can create engaging, scroll-stopping content for Smytten's social media platforms. This role sits at the intersection of
content, design, and trends
, and requires someone who can think creatively, design fast, and execute consistently.
Key Responsibilities
Create high-quality visual content for social media (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, etc.)
Design posts, stories, reels covers, carousels, and campaign creatives
Conceptualise and execute social content aligned with brand tone and marketing goals
Stay on top of social media trends, formats, and cultural moments
Collaborate with marketing, brand, and performance teams for campaigns and launches
Adapt designs quickly based on performance insights and feedback
Maintain visual consistency across all social platforms
What We're Looking For
2-4 years of experience in social media content creation and design
Strong design skills using tools such as
Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, or Figma
(any one or more); experience leveraging AI tools in design is a plus.
Understanding of social media formats, especially reels and short-form content
Ability to balance creativity with speed and execution
Good sense of typography, colour, and layout
Basic understanding of what performs well on social platforms
Experience in e-commerce, D2C, or consumer brands is a plus
Bonus Points If You
Have worked on creator-style or UGC-inspired content
Understand performance metrics and optimize content accordingly
Can think beyond design and contribute to content ideas
Are curious, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
