Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Social Commerce Technologist with at least 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of social commerce or eCommerce technologies and will be responsible for leading a team of 10 to develop and implement integrations with APIs to improve our social commerce offerings. As a Social Commerce Technologist, you will be working with our marketing, sales, and engineering teams to create innovative solutions that drive engagement, increase revenue, and improve customer experience.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of 10 social commerce technologists to develop and implement social commerce integrations with APIs across various social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest
Create end to end Architecture of Catalog Management, publishing to Social, getting the feedback data back into core systems, analyze and then improve the offerings on these channels
Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement new social commerce technologies and solutions, such as social shopping apps, chatbots, and virtual try-on tools
Design and execute experiments to test and optimize social commerce strategies using tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, and Instagram Insights
Analyze data to identify trends and insights that inform social commerce decisions, using tools such as Hootsuite Insights, Sprout Social, Socialbakers, and Sprinklr
Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop and execute social commerce campaigns using tools such as Shopify, BigCommerce, and Magento
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in social commerce and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
Lead by example, providing mentorship and guidance to team members and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment

Requirements:

Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
At least 12 years of experience in social commerce, e-commerce, or related field
Experience with Java, Node.js, and other relevant programming languages
Experience in Magento, Product Information Management, and Catalog Management systems
Knowledge of web development frameworks such as React and Angular
Strong understanding of social media platforms and APIs
Proven experience in developing and implementing integrations with APIs
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Experience leading and managing a team of 10 or more social commerce technologists
Leadership traits including the ability to motivate and inspire others, strong decision-making skills, and a commitment to fostering a culture of excellence
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
