Key Responsibilities:

Lead DLP strategy and implementation efforts using Akamai's security suite within the SOC environment. Design, configure, and maintain Akamai DLP and Web Application Firewall (WAF) policies to prevent unauthorized data exfiltration. Monitor and analyze DLP alerts, conduct investigations, and coordinate incident response activities. Develop use cases and fine-tune detection rules to reduce false positives and improve detection efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Legal, Compliance, Data Governance) to ensure data protection requirements are met. Generate reports and metrics for leadership on DLP effectiveness and security posture. Stay current with industry best practices, threat landscapes, and Akamai updates. Mentor SOC analysts and provide technical leadership on DLP and data protection initiatives.
