Job SummaryAs an Engineering Manager, the candidate will work in Functions Finance Technology covering projects across Tax Domain, with responsibility ensuring compliance with Architecture, Design, Best practices, Governance, Security and other controls in alignment with Banks System Development FrameworkKey Responsibilities

  • Requirements gathering, Architecture Design, Documentation
  • Solution Development and delivery of solution components
  • Perform Technical Review of key framework components.
  • Engage in performance testing and provide recommendations on tuning and optimization.
  • Share knowledge and best practices with Teams in technology and business.
  • Design and develop common service and framework.
  • Strictly adhere to Bank's SDF Framework and governance
  • Contribute to Solution Architecture updates. Intent documentation, DR Testing, Security review etc
  • Should ensure control and governance on data covering security, quality and provide recommendations.
Skills and Experience
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in financial domain, as an architect or lead developer with exposure to Risk and / or Finance project and appreciation of general banking products. An ideal candidate should have architecture background with execution background.
Should possess good understanding of API, microservices architecture.
  • Good experience in Python, Pandas, Polars, Flask , Spark Developer: Spark, Hadoop, Iceberg
Reporting: Superset
  • Ability to understand complex architecture landscape, provide solutions and articulate them effectively in both written and verbal to stakeholders such as Enterprise Architects, Business and Technology teams.
  • Should have strong knowledge and experience in data warehousing, and data pipelines with exposure to Python, Spark, Bigdata Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, Data Security, Data as a Service and ability to, Develop Data API's.
  • Knowledge on principles of Data Mesh would be added advantage.
  • Solid understanding of the development process pipeline, effective code version control & continuous Integration, Deployment.
  • Working knowledge in various database and storage technologies such as Postgres, S3, SQL server, Oracle, Hadoop Hive, HDFS, Parquet.
  • Good knowledge\exposure to public cloud services on Azure/AWS and DevSecops tools/process
Qualifications
  • Certification in Cloud competencies, Devops and Data Engineering
  • Relevant degree in Technology
