Core Responsibilities:
Oversee end-to-end administration of Snowflake Data Warehouse integrated with HR system including user management, security roles, access controls, and performance optimization. Manage data ingestion pipelines from core HR systems (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, SAP HR). Implement and enforce governance standards, schema design best practices, and metadata management for HR datasets. Maintain data retention, backup, and recovery policies in alignment with company compliance and privacy standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).Collaborate with HRIS and IT teams to automate data flows between Snowflake and analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).Build and maintain ETL/ELT workflows using tools such as
I
nformatica, Matillion, or Azure Data Factory. Partner with HR application teams to ensure smooth integration between HR systems and Snowflake environment.Ensure data quality, validation, and reconciliation of HR metrics including headcount, attrition, compensation, and performance data. Define data dictionaries, lineage documentation, and change management procedures. Support HR leadership with advanced reporting, dashboards, and predictive analytics.Optimize Snowflake costs, warehouse size, and queries. Implement role-based access controls (RBAC) and data masking to protect sensitive HR information. Collaborate with cybersecurity and compliance teams to ensure system integrity and audit readiness.Act as the HR Data Systems SME (Subject Matter Expert) to internal HR, Finance, and IT teams. Partner with analytics and data science teams for workforce analytics and modeling. Train HR business users on data access, tools, and self-service reporting practices.
Required Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, HR technology, or a related field. 8+ years of experience managing enterprise data systems, with 3+ years of Snowflake administration. Proven experience in HR data systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or similar. Strong SQL and performance tuning skills. Experience with ETL/ELT tools and scripting (Python or SQL-based automation). Understanding of HR metrics, data models, and compliance requirements.Experience integrating HR data with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik view
