Job Summary


We are looking for a talented and experienced Snowflake Developer to design, develop, and maintain our data architecture on Snowflake. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of Snowflakes data warehousing capabilities and possess advanced skills in SQL and stored procedures to ensure smooth data operations and efficient query performance.


Key Responsibilities


Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake data models and architectures to ensure high-performance data warehousing solutions.


Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.


Develop and manage stored procedures, views, and user-defined functions in Snowflake.


Ensure the quality and integrity of data through testing, debugging, and performance tuning.


Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and other teams to understand data requirements and build efficient data solutions.


Manage Snowflake roles, privileges, and other data security configurations.


Monitor system performance and implement best practices to enhance query execution time and overall system efficiency.


Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines, stored procedures, and other Snowflake components.


Provide technical support and guidance to team members on Snowflake and SQL best practices.


Required Qualifications


Strong experience working with Snowflake (data warehousing, architecture, security configurations.


Advanced SQL skills with experience in writing complex queries, stored procedures, and functions.


Hands-on experience with Snowflake-specific features such as virtual warehouses, Snowflake streams, tasks, and snowpipe.


Experience with ETL processes and tools in Snowflake (e.g., Snowflake Data Exchange, Snowflake Tasks).


In-depth understanding of database optimization, query performance tuning, and debugging.


Knowledge of version control systems like Git.


Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work with large-scale data sets.


Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.


Preferred Qualifications


Snowflake certifications e.g., Snowflake SnowPro Certification) are a plus.


Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.


Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and their integration with Snowflake.


Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
