Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced

Snowflake Administrator

to join our team. The role involves managing and optimizing Snowflake in a production environment while leveraging

Azure Cloud services

. You will be responsible for ensuring security, compliance, and performance of Snowflake workloads, along with supporting automation and CI/CD practices.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and manage Snowflake environments in production. Implement and manage

RBAC, RLS, and CLS policies

to ensure data security. Design and optimize Snowflake schemas, queries, and workloads. Collaborate with Azure Cloud teams for architecture and integration. Automate workflows using

CI/CD pipelines and IaC tools (Terraform, Azure DevOps)

. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance of Snowflake instances. Ensure compliance with

data governance, security, and regulatory frameworks

. Document architecture, processes, and best practices. Work with cross-functional teams to support data platform scalability.

Required Qualifications

3+ years

of experience administering Snowflake in a production environment. Strong knowledge of

Azure Cloud services and architecture

. Proficiency in

SQL, Snowflake scripting, and data modeling

. Hands-on experience with

CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Azure DevOps)

. Proven track record of implementing

RBAC, RLS, and CLS

in Snowflake. Solid understanding of

data governance, compliance, and security best practices

. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

Snowflake SnowPro Certification

(highly desirable). Azure Administrator or Azure Data Engineer Certification. Scripting skills in

Python

or similar languages. Exposure to other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: Up to ₹100,000.00 per month
