Job Description

As a Snowflake Administrator, you will design, set up, optimize, and maintain Snowflake data warehouse environments. You will manage performance, security, data ingestion, and integrations in a hybrid/remote setup.

Responsibilities

Design, configure, and administer Snowflake accounts, warehouses, databases, and users Monitor performance, query optimization, scaling strategies Implement data ingestion pipelines (ETL / ELT) into Snowflake Manage data partitioning, clustering, and storage optimization Ensure data security, access controls, and governance Automate tasks, backup, restoration, and housekeeping Collaborate with data teams, BI teams, and integration teams Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, query tuning Document architecture, configurations, best practices
Required Skills & Experience

4+ years as Snowflake DBA / administrator / engineer Strong experience in data warehousing concepts, ETL / ELT pipelines Deep knowledge of SQL, Snowflake features (clustering, micro-partitions, query tuning) Experience with performance optimization, monitoring, and capacity planning Experience integrating Snowflake with other tools / data sources Strong scripting / automation skills (Python, Shell, etc.) Good understanding of data security and governance
Nice-to-Have

Experience with cloud data platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) Experience with tools like dbt, Airflow, Informatica, etc. Experience in version control, CI/CD for data pipelines
Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
