The SNK Operator will be responsible for operating and setting up SNK CNC machines (such as HMC/VMC/Double Column Machining Centers) to produce precision components as per engineering drawings and quality standards. The role requires strong technical understanding of machining processes, tools, and machine programming.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate
SNK CNC machines
(e.g., SNK HMC, VMC, or 5-axis machining centers).
Load/unload workpieces and ensure correct job fixture setup as per process sheets.
Read and interpret
engineering drawings
,
G-codes
, and
process instructions
.
Make necessary
offset adjustments
, tool changes, and parameter corrections during machining.
Inspect components using
measuring instruments
(Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, CMM, etc.).
Ensure machine operation within defined
tolerances and surface finish
standards.
Maintain
machine cleanliness, coolant level
, and daily maintenance records.
Identify and report machine or quality issues to the supervisor.
Work closely with the
quality and maintenance teams
for process improvement.
Follow all
safety and 5S standards
during machine operation.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of
CNC operations

Experience with
Fanuc / Mitsubishi / Siemens controls

Ability to read
mechanical drawings and GD&T symbols

Qualification:
ITI / Diploma
in Mechanical / Production Engineering or equivalent.
Experience:
2 to 6 years
of hands-on experience in CNC machining, preferably on
