Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced

Senior Accountant

with strong expertise in real estate or construction sector accounting. The candidate should have 3-5 years of experience handling accounts, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting. This role involves managing day-to-day accounts, ensuring statutory compliance, and providing accurate financial insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Bookkeeping:

Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, and financial records. Handle accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliation.

Taxation & Compliance:

Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns. Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and government regulations.

Financial Reporting:

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis for projects.

Audit & Internal Controls:

Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits. Implement and monitor internal financial controls.

Project Accounting:

Manage accounts related to real estate/construction projects. Track project costs, vendor payments, and client billing.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

B.Com/M.Com; CA/ICWA Inter or equivalent qualification preferred.

Experience:

3-5 years of experience in accounting (real estate/construction industry preferred). Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance. Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
