You will be responsible for performance, scalability, APIs, communication between servicesfor ourcloud-baseddisaster and ransomware recoveryservice. The Work: What type of work will you be doing What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis Here are the skills that will set you for success in this role. Proficiency inanobject-orientedprogramming languagelike Java andPython. Strong foundational knowledge indata structures and algorithms. Experience building distributed systems applications. Strong Operating Systems concepts such as multithreading, memory, RPC. Experience dealing with scale, performance and concurrency issues. Good understanding of networking and application security concepts. Experience with SAAS and cloud services is a strong plus. Strong algorithmic and problem-solving skills. Work with Product Management to create new products and functionality. Build features at a rapid pace without compromising product quality. Troubleshoot issues in both production and non-production environments. Communicate and collaborate across all functional teams. Self-motivated, results-oriented, and most importantly a team player. What is the leadership like for this role What is the structure and culture of the team like TheVMware Cloud Disaster Recovery(VCDR)managementteam isresponsible forbuilding and extending the management and control plane for our disaster recovery product.The team consist of some of the best engineers in industry and wework on next generation technology for disaster recovery.VCDR is an exciting new area of investment of VMware, and we are looking to grow our already exceptional product and team. Where is this role located Flexible: The role is considered flexible and will be a mix of working from a local VMware office and remote depending on your preferences and the arrangements determined with your future manager.
