Perform setup and teardown procedures for the Pick & Place machine based on work orders and BOM (Bill of Materials).
Load correct component reels and feeders into the machine according to the program specifications.
Adjust machine parameters (e.g., nozzle selection, placement speed, pressure) to achieve optimal placement accuracy.
Component Handling & Inspection:
Verify that components (IC, resistors, capacitors, etc.) match the Bill of Materials (BOM) and job specifications.
Perform routine visual inspections of PCBs during and after the placement process to identify misplaced, missing, or incorrectly oriented components.
Ensure proper handling and inventory of moisture-sensitive and static-sensitive devices (MSD/ESD control).
Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
Perform basic preventative maintenance (PM) on the P&P machine, including cleaning nozzles, cameras, and feeder banks.
Identify and troubleshoot common machine errors (e.g., missed picks, component jams, vision errors).
Report major equipment malfunctions to the SMT Technician or Supervisor promptly.
