Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled

SMT Machine Operator

with hands-on experience in

ASM SMT machines (ASM TX, ASM D1/D2)

to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting SMT production lines while ensuring high-quality output and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operate SMT machines, including pick-and-place, screen printers, and reflow ovens. Perform setup, calibration, and changeover of SMT lines as per work orders. Inspect solder paste application, component placement, and solder joints for quality compliance. Load feeders and reels into machines according to job specifications. Monitor machine performance and carry out minor maintenance or adjustments. Identify, troubleshoot, and report equipment malfunctions or product defects. Adhere strictly to

ESD protocols, safety procedures, and cleanroom practices

. Maintain accurate production documentation, logs, and reports. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve process-related issues. Ensure workplace cleanliness, organization, and compliance with

5S principles

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent;

technical/vocational training

preferred. Minimum

3 years of hands-on experience in SMT operations

. Prior experience with

ASM SMT machines (ASM TX, ASM D1/D2)

is strongly preferred. Basic computer literacy and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) and X-ray inspection systems. Strong knowledge of SMT processes and equipment handling. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and

5S methodologies

Work Environment

Cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment. Flexibility to work in

shifts, including nights and weekends

Pay: ₹13,755.85 - ₹20,000.00 per month
