About the Role - SMO Specialist Intern

We are seeking a creative, analytical, and highly motivated SMO Specialist Intern to join our digital marketing team at ElectroGlobal Solutions. This internship provides hands-on experience in social media strategy, content optimization, brand communication, Meta Ads management, and community growth. You will collaborate with the marketing and design teams to strengthen ElectroGlobal's online presence and drive meaningful audience engagement across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and optimize ElectroGlobal's social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter/X, Facebook, YouTube, etc.).

Plan, schedule, and execute data-driven social media strategies aligned with brand objectives.

Create engaging posts, reels, stories, and short-form content to boost reach and engagement.

Monitor and analyze social media KPIs such as reach, impressions, engagement, CTR, and growth trends.

Collaborate with design and video teams to develop high-quality multimedia content.

Research social media trends, competitor activities, and audience preferences for strategic insights.

Contribute ideas for campaigns, influencer collaborations, events, and brand-building initiatives.

Meta Ads Responsibilities

Assist in planning, executing, and optimizing Meta Ads campaigns (Facebook & Instagram).

Track and analyze ad metrics including reach, engagement, CTR, CPM, CPC, and cost-per-result.

Support audience research, retargeting strategies, and custom audience setups.

Help develop ad copy, creatives, and A/B testing strategies for continuous improvement.

Provide performance reports and insights to enhance future campaign success.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Media, Communications, Digital Marketing, or related fields.

Strong understanding of major social media platforms, algorithms, and optimization strategies.

Basic design and video editing skills using Canva, Adobe Express, CapCut, or similar tools.

Familiarity with Meta Business Suite / Meta Ads Manager and paid social marketing fundamentals.

Creative mindset with strong storytelling abilities and attention to detail.

Good communication skills, teamwork capability, and a proactive attitude toward digital marketing.

Analytical ability to interpret social media and ad performance data.
