About the Role We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our technology team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of professional experience, specializing in core banking systems, particularly Finacle, and enterprise workflow/digital solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of banking processes across conventional and Islamic finance, coupled with expertise in implementing and managing complex digital transformation platforms. Key Responsibilities

• System Expertise & Consulting:

• Act as the primary SME for Finacle Conventional Core including modules like Treasury and Trade Finance (TF), providing expert guidance on configuration, customization, and process optimization.
• Serve as the SME for Finacle Islamic Core (IFB), ensuring compliance with Sharia principles and providing functional and technical support for Islamic banking operations.
• Provide in-depth consultation on integrating Finacle with peripheral systems and digital channels.
• Workflow & Digital Solutions Implementation:

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of solutions using Enterprise Workflow Management systems, specifically NewGen (RLOS, CLOS, BPM, DMS).
• Drive the digital transformation of key banking processes, including Retail Loan Origination System (RLOS), Commercial Loan Origination System (CLOS), and Business Process Management (BPM) initiatives.
• Oversee the implementation of Document Management Systems (DMS), ensuring efficient and compliant handling of bank documentation.
• Customer Onboarding & Process Improvement:

• Design and optimize seamless, digital-first Customer Onboarding processes across all banking products, leveraging the NewGen platform.
• Conduct process analysis and re-engineering to improve operational efficiency, reduce turnaround times, and enhance the overall customer experience.
• Stakeholder Management & Mentorship:

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and IT teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs.
• Mentor junior team members, sharing expertise on core banking systems and digital platforms.
• Manage vendor relationships and delivery for specific projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in the banking technology domain, with a strong focus on core banking implementation and support.
• Core Banking (Mandatory):

• Expertise in Finacle Conventional Core including robust knowledge of Treasury and Trade Finance (TF) modules.
• Proficiency in Finacle Islamic Core (IFB) and understanding of the unique requirements of Islamic banking products.
• Digital/Workflow (Mandatory):

• Proven hands-on experience with Enterprise Workflow Management solutions, specifically with the NewGen product suite.
• Deep functional and technical knowledge of RLOS, CLOS, BPM, and DMS implementations.
• Banking Domain: Strong understanding of banking business processes, regulatory environment, and best practices across retail, commercial, and corporate banking.
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead and drive complex projects independently.
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Must be ready to travel to Ethiopia
