Job Description

SME will be offering guidance and content validation while supporting instructional designers in creating engaging, inclusive modules aligned with PA Core Standards and career readiness goals.

Scope of work:

Review and validate content created by instructional designers for grades 6-12. Embed disciplinary literacy and digital literacy skills in ELA content. Support integration of STEM topics into argumentative, narrative, and research-based writing. Recommend culturally responsive texts and inclusive themes. Guide rubric creation for written assignments and literary analysis tasks.

Required Qualifications:

Master's in English, Literacy, or Secondary Education. 5+ years of experience teaching middle/high school ELA or in a curriculum development role. Familiarity with 21st-century and career readiness frameworks.
Experience with culturally responsive curriculum and diverse literature
