As an integral member of Sales team, the MIS Analyst will be responsible for the design, development, implementation and support of critical Business Intelligence (BI)reports,Excel Reports, and other tools working with cross-functional teams.
1. Maintain contractual staff's productivity tracker
2. Maintain count of hiring, salary details and joining details of contractual staff
3. Automate reports to reduce man-hours spent on existing reports
4. Develop MIS documentation to allow for smooth operations and easy system maintenance
5. Provide recommendations to update current MIS to improve reporting efficiency and consistency
6. Perform data analysis for generating reports on periodic basis
7. Develop MIS system for customer management and internal communication
8. Provide strong reporting and analytical information support to management team
9. Generate both periodic and ad hoc reports as needed.
10. Understand customer problems and provide appropriate technical solutions.
11. Analyse business information to identify process improvements for increasing business efficiency and effectiveness
12. Participate in cross-functional meetings to resolve recurring customer issues
13. Provide customer support and assistance in issue troubleshooting and resolution
14. Prepare and publish weekly and monthly Sales dashboards to management
15. Update business on new changes in reports as and when introduced
16. Regularly follow-up with business on report completeness & accuracy
Requirements
Ability to function effectively in an extremely dynamic industry
Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficient with MS Office Applications like Excel, Access etc. and being able to design
reports and tools with VBA macros.
Knowledge of logical and physical data modelling concepts (relational and dimensional)
Understanding of data integration issues (validation and cleaning), familiarity with
complex data and structures
Excellent interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills are required to support
working in project environments that includes internal, external and customer teams
Requires strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities, and assess and adjust quickly to changing priorities
