We are seeking a passionate and experienced Curriculum Developer to design, develop, and evaluate age-appropriate, engaging, and effective curriculum content for Pre-Primary to Primary Grades 1-4. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of early childhood and primary education pedagogy, child development, and a commitment to holistic and inclusive learning approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop comprehensive curriculum frameworks, lesson plans, assessments, and instructional materials for Pre-Primary to Grade 4 in alignment with national/international standards.
Integrate play-based, inquiry-driven, and activity-based learning methodologies suitable for early learners.
Develop scope and sequence documents, learning outcomes, and progress tracking mechanisms for each grade level.
Collaborate with subject matter experts, educators, and school leaders to ensure contextual relevance and practicality of curriculum materials.
Incorporate 21st-century skills, social-emotional learning (SEL), digital literacy, and inclusive education principles into the curriculum.
Develop teacher guides and training materials to support effective classroom implementation.
Regularly review and revise curriculum based on feedback, assessments, and emerging best practices in early education.
Support pilot programs and classroom implementation through teacher observation, feedback, and resource adjustments.
Stay updated on national curriculum standards, NEP 2020 (if in India), and global educational trends.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Curriculum & Instruction, B.ed or related field (Master's preferred).
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in curriculum development or early years/primary teaching.
Deep understanding of child development theories, learning outcomes, and classroom practices for children aged 3-10.
Familiarity with educational frameworks such as Montessori, Reggio Emilia, Waldorf, IB PYP, or other international/national standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong planning, organizational, and project management abilities.
Proficiency in digital tools (e.g., MS Office, Google Workspace, or curriculum design platforms).
Passion for nurturing foundational learning and creativity in young children.
