: Subject Matter Experts (SME) - Infrastructure Systems
About the Role:
As an Subject Matter Experts (SME) for Infrastructure Systems, your role will be pivotal in supporting and optimizing facility systems. You will leverage your technical expertise to ensure smooth operations and effective communication infrastructure.
What You Will Do In Your Role:
Provide Expertise: Offer in-depth knowledge and insights to guide decision-making and strategy related to infrastructure systems.
Support Projects: Assist teams with technical details, best practices, and industry standards to enhance project outcomes. Develop Content: Contribute to the creation of training materials, documentation, and knowledge bases to support system usage and troubleshooting. Quality Assurance: Review and validate work to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment with Company standards. Consult and Advise: Act as a go-to resource for solving complex problems related to facility systems and communications. Training and Mentorship: Educate and mentor team members or stakeholders to build a knowledgeable and capable support team. Stay Updated: Keep up with industry trends and evolving standards to continuously improve system designs and operations.
Qualifications:
Education:
Diploma or Engineering in Electronics and Communication or Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
Experience:
3-5 years of relevant experience in infrastructure systems and technologies.
Good to Have:
- Low Voltage Cabling: Experience with copper and fiber cables. - Power : UPS, power generators, and PDU knowledge. - Cooling for Server & Network Devices: Standard and smart racks. - Data Closet Design: Experience with MDF/IDF layout. - Sound Masking: Ability to reduce surrounding noise in office areas and paging. - Alertus System: Knowledge of EHS systems.
Working Conditions:
Primarily office-based with regular visits to project sites. May require occasional travel to locations or other offices.
Mandatory Primary Skill Set

Low Voltage Cabling
Proficiency in working with
copper (Cat6/Cat6A)
and
fiber optic
cabling (OM3/OM4, SMF). Familiarity with cable termination, labeling, testing, and certification standards (e.g., Fluke testing).
Power Systems
Hands-on experience with
UPS systems
,
power generators
,
PDUs (rack and floor-level)
. Understanding of
redundancy
,
load balancing
, and
power monitoring tools
.
Cooling Infrastructure
Knowledge of
rack-level (smart racks)
and
room-level (CRAC/CRAH)
cooling technologies. Experience in
thermal management
and
hot aisle/cold aisle containment
design.
Data Closet Design (MDF/IDF)
Practical exposure to designing and maintaining
Main Distribution Frame (MDF)
and
Intermediate Distribution Frame (IDF)
layouts. Experience in equipment mounting, grounding, and compliance with
TIA/EIA standards
.
Secondary Skill Set
(Useful for extended responsibilities, project support, or cross-functional engagement)
Sound Masking and Paging Systems
Understanding of office acoustics, speaker placement, and integration with
AV systems
. Experience in reducing background noise and implementing
paging/announcement systems

EHS Alerting Systems
Basic knowledge of
Environmental Health & Safety (EHS)
alert systems like
fire alarms
,
emergency alerts
, and
mass notification tools
. Familiarity with integrating such systems into
BAS or centralized control rooms

BAS Knowledge (Preferred for BAS Role)
Working knowledge of
HVAC control systems

access control

CCTV
, and
building management software platforms
(e.g., Tridium, Siemens Desigo, Honeywell, Schneider EcoStruxure). Ability to interface IT/network infrastructure with BAS for centralized monitoring.
