• Role Overview - Pricing for NA Team

Key Responsibilities:We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented North America Major Account Property individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for case pricing of major accounts, rate change analysis, and monthly price monitoring, utilizing advanced actuarial pricing techniques. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data analysis, and the ability to communicate complex information effectively. The key responsibilities are:

• Case Pricing: -Conduct case pricing for major accounts with large Total Insured Values (TIV) using actuarial pricing techniques. Utilize methods such as Burning Cost, Exposure-Based Method, and Frequency and Severity Simulation to determine appropriate pricing strategies
• Participate in Pricing Meetings: Actively attend pricing meetings, addressing queries and providing support to pricing actuaries and business leaders.
• Conduct Price Monitoring Studies: Prepare and present a comprehensive monthly price monitoring report that tracks pricing trends and identifies potential areas for adjustment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on pricing strategies and market conditions.
• Rate Change: Evaluate historical loss data, premium production, and retention rates to assess pricing effectiveness and recommend adjustments as necessary.
• Provide Actionable Insights: Develop insights and recommendations for pricing adjustments based on monitoring results and data analysis.
• Prepare Reports and Presentations: Create comprehensive reports and presentations to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
• Communicate Analysis Effectively: Summarize and communicate analysis results with clarity and precision, ensuring accuracy and an eye for detail.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. With qualification as an associate or fellow with IAI / IFoA / CAS / SoA
• Experience: Minimum of seven years of relevant actuarial experience in Property & Casualty insurance, with preference given to candidates with a background in Pricing.
• Technical Skills: Strong analytical skills and proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, Python, SQL) as well as advanced Excel and VBA capabilities.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional communication abilities, able to convey complex information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Teamwork and Independence: Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
