About the role

The Outbound Sales Development Representative (SDR) role at Rippling offers a unique opportunity to be part of a high-growth team driving expansion in the North American SMB market. At the core of your role, you should be self driven and motivated. Outbound SDR role is one of the most challenging role but also a career defining one.
We are looking for driven and ambitious SDRs who can balance high-velocity prospecting with a strategic approach to qualification. You will partner closely with Account Executives and Marketing to generate qualified pipeline and contribute directly to Rippling's US growth.

This is a hybrid role. You will be expected to work from our Bangalore office three days a week.
What you will do

Build Pipeline, build pipeline, build pipeline. The rule of the game is simple: Get your book of accounts, research about companies/prospective customers like a maniac, pick up the phone and dial. Use emails and LinkedIn to provide 'air cover' to your on the ground assault ie. Outbound calling. This is the crux but more details below.
Become an expert across Rippling's entire product suite and understand the competitive landscape
Collaborate with Account Executives and Marketing to design and execute outbound campaigns
Work closely with your SDR Manager to track metrics, improve outreach, and hit pipeline targets
Prospect via phone, email, and social channels to connect with key decision-makers
Conduct research into target companies to personalize outreach based on their business and technology needs
Stay up to date with HRIS industry trends and competitive shifts to position Rippling effectively
Maintain CRM accuracy and ensure all prospecting activities are well-documented in Salesforce
Qualify leads using BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, and Timeline) and schedule discovery meetings with AEs
What you will need
----------------------
2+ years of experience as an Outbound SDR in the North American market (SaaS preferred)
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience using tools like Salesforce, Outreach, Apollo, ZoomInfo, and Lusha
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
Strong results orientation with a proven track record of exceeding activity and pipeline goals
Collaborative mindset and openness to feedback and coaching
