Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and commission smart energy meters at customer premises.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to smart meters.
Perform routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of installed meters.
Ensure proper documentation, meter readings, and service reports.
Replace faulty meters and ensure calibration accuracy.
Coordinate with the operations team for site planning and daily work allocation.
Follow safety standards and electrical guidelines during field activities.
Provide basic customer support and explain meter-related functions if required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
ITI / Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation.
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in meter installation or electrical maintenance (freshers may be considered depending on company).
Knowledge of single-phase & three-phase meter installation.
Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults and wiring issues.
Basic understanding of communication modules (GPRS/4G, RF, AMI systems).
Strong fieldwork orientation and willingness to travel.
Additional Requirements:
Should have a valid two-wheeler and driving license.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple site visits.
Good communication and customer-handling skills.
