Explain the Benefits (Convincing the Consumer)

Clearly communicate advantages:

? Free meter and installation

? Accurate, tamper-proof billing

? Track real-time electricity usage via mobile app

? Avoids manual errors or disputes in billing

? Helps reduce electricity wastage

Show Proof of Legitimacy (If Asked)

If the consumer asks for proof or has doubts:

Show the NCC Authorisation Letter/ID Card

Politely explain that NCC has officially partnered with our team for this rollout

Ask for the Latest Electricity Bill

Request the latest electricity bill (physical or digital)

If bill is not available physically, ask the consumer to show it on their phone

Why? You need the Consumer Number and other details for form submission and app registration

Check if Consumer is Ready

Download NCC Application

If not already done, download and install the NCC Metering App

Register the consumer using their mobile number and Consumer Number from the bill

Capture Old Meter Details

Before removing the old meter:

Take clear photos of:

Old meter reading

Meter number

Wiring setup (for reference)

Record these details in the app or in the WF G-form

Remove Old Meter

Carefully disconnect and remove the old meter

Ensure power is switched off and follow safety guidelines

Install New Smart Meter

Install the new NCC smart meter

Make sure connections are tight and secured

Double-check readings and sync with the app if needed

Take photo proof of the newly installed meter

Confirm Consumer Number

Double-check the Consumer Number from the bill matches what's entered in the app

Confirm with the consumer

Fill Out G-Form / WF Form

Complete the G-Form (Workforce Form) with:

Consumer Number

Name

Address

Old & new meter numbers

Date/time of installation

Installer name and ID

Photos (before/after)

Get consumer signature or digital acknowledgement

Final Checklist Before Leaving:

Meter installed & tested

All photos taken

App updated

G-Form filled

Consumer acknowledged

Scheduled revisit (if needed)
