We are looking for a motivated individual to be part of the strategic planning team to perform the below listed roles and responsibilities. Being an excellent communicator, strong business acumen, proactive, self-motivated, decision making, and problem-solving aptitude will be the key elements of success of this position. As a engine planner, you will be responsible to coordinate with internal & external stakeholders of business to perform the below tasks.

The below are the key requirements:

  • Have 5+ years' experience in Aero industry or automobile industry
  • Strong experience with data visualization in excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiar with SAP SD, CRM, etc.
  • Experience with the forecasting techniques
  • Excellent communication skills - ability to understand the requirements and present the story in a meaningful way
  • Attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple tasks, set priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Knowledge in Financial aspect is a plus
  • Flexible to adapt to learn new things and work time zone

SMART Engine:
  • Define target maintenance plan: Forecast engine exchange for the FY & 5Y using SIOP OH forecast, capture rate and historical data
  • Monthly consensus review with Sales team to plan the short-term future demand and adjust the FY plan
  • Create induction schedule to overhaul planned engines (based on the consensus)
  • Core Selection: Identify core engines to meet the induction target
  • Prioritize engines per requirements and advise Koptair (authorized vendor to evaluate all core engines received from customers) to perform Core evaluation accordingly
  • Define engine Spec prior induction - Specific customer spec requirement, LCF & TBO
  • Core governance process
  • Confirm the core evaluation is saved in sharepoint and lien is cleared
  • Update the core governance file with recommended disposition for the engines with core evaluation available- to be kept for sales, rental pool, offer to PWCS, mutilated, etc.
  • Contact customer, sales team, Koptair depending on the actions discussed in Core Gov meeting to get the information needed
  • Prepare mutilation list for engine disposed as to be mutilated, complete the approval process, liaise with the shop to have the engines mutilated and certificate saved in SP
  • Shop Event Management
  • Coordination with the MRO/DOF to secure OH induction slots to meet the SMART engine demand
  • Complete and provide the PO & CRM opportunities to shop according to customer requirement
  • Coordinate with logistics team to ship the engines to-and-fro from shops
  • Conduct weekly meetings with Shops to track the engines in shop, get visibility on completion and induction dates
  • Conduct weekly meetings with Sales team to confirm current demand, inform change in availability of engines, adjust/ modify the induction plan
  • Work with PWCS and Spares to resolve parts issues
  • Work on the scrap listing once engine is completed to confirm that all removed (Scrapped) parts are received at Koptair
  • Review and approve Cost estimates / Final Invoice for both SMART & Rental engines
  • Work on to finalize non-compliant core charges if the engine is missing parts
  • Publish weekly reports on website and internally
  • Managing 0TSO and Rental inventory
Rental Pool:
  • Pool Optimization for rental engines, reduce/ increase the number of engines in pool according to demand, utilization, etc.
  • Connecting with Rental admins to understand the urgent requirements and prioritizing those to complete the PRI first
  • Pool health monitoring, identify the engines for further maintenance (PRI/ HSI/ OH/ Test & Recertification)
